Landscape Maintenance Labourer
Responsibilities:
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate an assortment of landscape/turf
maintenance equipment
- Maintenance of industrial properties including grass cutting and trimming,
edging and de-weeding of garden beds, pruning, etc.
- Must work in a team environment and posses a professional and positive
attitude
- Perform all work duties and conduct themselves in a safe and respectable
manor.
- Must be able to keep up with physical requirements and outdoor elements.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
- Familiar with standard Health & Safety protocol, maintenance practices,
machinery operation, plant ID and turf maintenance practices
- Current First Aid certificate is an asset
- Punctuality and reliability is essential
- Must be able to follow instructions or tasks set out by the Lead hand
- Attention to detail while demonstrating "big-picture" thinking
No public transportation to the office is available. Reliable personal transportation is not only required, but will be necessary to be considered for employment.
Wages will be based on experience, skill, and ability. We also offer performance
bonuses for the successful hire.

Landscape Maintenance Crew Leaders
Responsibilities:
- 3 years experience directing a crew of 3 to 6 people and must be able to
provide onsite instruction to labourers
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to fulfill fulltime and seasonal guarantees
- Must ensure every member of team works safely in accordance with WHIMS
standards while always keeping a clean worksite.
- Act as a professional company representative
- Overseeing all aspects of industrial landscape maintenance
- Safe and efficient equipment operation (lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc)
Qualifications
- Previous landscaping supervisory experience
- Excellent communication skills
- A valid G driver's license in good standing
- Good knowledge of horticultural maintenance practices
- Familiar with standard health & safety protocol, maintenance practices,
machinery operation, plant ID, and turf maintenance practices
- Critical eye for detail
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job
- Career minded with a desire to grow with the company
- Meticulous record keeping skills
